I use this wrist light when I run and ride at night. For riding I use it for signaling when I am going to turn. I just bought 2 more so I can wear them on my ankles and be more visible while riding. I highly recommend this product.

There are a few ultras that require a red blinky light to be worn in front and back of your vest. Blinky lights are typically of the clip on variety and I always worry that they’ll fall off in rough terrain and then I won’t be compliant with the race rules. This wrist light can easily be attached to a vest using a girth hitch, carabiner or zip tie making it impossible to loose it during an event. It is plenty bright too!
