at the age of 20 – and the rest was history! Following her passion in endurance sports, Alyssa then left the corporate world in 2014 to pursue racing triathlon professionally. She has finished 36 Ironmans, with 7 top-five finishes in the professional field, and an Ironman personal best time of 9 hours and 33 minutes. In 2018 she set her sights back on the trails in pursuit of speed records in the North East. Alyssa has since continued to evolve as an athlete and coach, adding adventure racing and swim-run to her many experiences in racing.<\/p>\n

She discovered trail running in 2014 after an injury from pounding the pavement. She was instantly hooked and jumped into the ultra scene. She made it a goal to become an elite trail runner and accomplished that goal in 2015 by winning the 50 mile USATF Trail Championships. Since then she has placed 4th at Western States 100 twice, 2nd at CCC 100k, 1st at TransAlpine, and top 20 at UTMB, to name a few. Although Annie is young and relatively new to the sport, she has already made a name for herself in a very short amount of time, especially with her multiple 200-mile wins. In 2021, Annie became the youngest woman to ever win the Leadville Trail 100. She also won the Moab 240, and earned number three in the 2021 Ultrarunner of the Year Awards.<\/p>\n
In 2022, Annie placed 1st female, 3rd overall, and broke the course record by 14 hours at the Cocodona 250. She then went on to place 1st female, 2nd overall and set a new course record at the High Lonesome 100. She also finished out the season with a win at the Run Rabbit Run 100.<\/p>\n
Annie is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Buena Vista, Colorado during her senior year of high school. She went on to run cross country and track for Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado before discovering her love for the mountains and testing her limits on the trails in 2019. After graduating from Lock Haven University in 2016, Ben ran across Pennsylvania before moving short term to Park City, UT and Boulder, CO where he fell in love with trail running and the community. He signed up for his first 50k trail race in 2017 at UROC and won by an hour! Since then, Ben has traveled the USA and Europe fulfilling his passion and seeking that next dose of adrenaline through trail running and skyrunning. In 2007, 2012 & 2015 Devon was the RRCA Marathon National Champion. In 2010 and 2019 50 mile road National Champion, 2011 100k road National Champion and 2012 & 2016 Olympic Trials <\/span>marathoner. Devon has a marathon PR of 2:38:55 and set the Fastest Known Time on the <\/span>Grand Canyon R2R2R trail with Krissy Moehl in April 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n Among other incredible accomplishments Devon has three times on top 10 fastest lists for <\/span>performances by North American runners including 50km, 100km and 100 mile and the 3rd <\/span>fastest all-time trail 100 mile time. A total of 3 Comrades Marathon gold medals (Top 10s). She won the inaugural Ultrarunning Magazine Race Series and has podium finishes at Western States 100 mile in 2016 (3rd place) and at Leadville 100 in 2017 (1st place). After a life-threatening accident in 2017, falling 150 feet off of a ridge line during a sky race, Hillary was told she would never run again. Karl has also won 6 100 mile races in one calendar year, setting 3 <\/span>records in the process.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Karl also broke the Appalachian Trail record in 2016, completing the grueling <\/span>\u201cAT\u201d in 45 days, 22 hours, 38 minutes. The trail is 2193 miles long with 485,000\u2019 <\/span>of vertical gain over extremely tough trail surfaces. This was his third attempt at <\/span>this goal. Perseverance prevailed. Helping runners <\/span>achieve lofty goals, primarily on trails and longer distances. <\/span>Karl\u2019s future goal consists of reaching 100, 100-mile finishes. Kyle also holds the FKT for the fastest downhill mile (3:46) on the steepest county road in America, Lickskillet Road. His intro to ultras was very unique. In 2012 he broke his back in a skiing accident. His injury caused him to lose his job and defer his college classes for a full year. He miraculously recovered within a few weeks, and because he didn’t have a job or classes to attend, he started running a lot of miles every day. This put him on a path to ultra running, and hasn’t looked back.\u00a0 Mike has an amazing wife and two kids, and resides in the mountains of Northern Utah. Peter began his ultra-running journey in 2014 completing his first 50 mile event at the Man Against Horse race and his first 100 mile at the Javelina Jundred\u00a0 just a few weeks later. Over the last 10 years, he has propelled himself into the hardest races in the world including the Dragons Back Race across Wales, the 268 Mile Montane Spine Race, the Barkley Marathons, and the Hurt 100 which he won in 2022. He also won the Mogollon Monster 100 and the Man Against Horse Race in 2023 beating the horses outright which only one other person has managed to do since it\u2019s inception. He also set a record in 2023 for summiting Mt. Humphreys, Arizona\u2019s highest peak, 56 times in a calendar year. When he\u2019s not running around the world or on the San Francisco Peaks, you\u2019ll most likely find him volunteering at many of the Arizona races crewing, pacing, or cooking for all the runners. Peter originally hails from Europe spending much of his childhood growing up in England and Italy. She received that name during her nearly 6 month thru hike of the 2,200 mile trail in 2019. That experience inspired her to live life to the absolute fullest and she made a vow to spend as much time on trails as possible. As a wife of a U.S. Navy Diver Tara moves around the country often. She began exploring ultras in California in 2021 and ran her first 100 miler that October in North Carolina. After that first 100 mile race it became her new obsession. Since 2021 she has run 17 ultras and podiumed in all but 3. Tara has set Fastest Known Time speed records on the Mountains-To-Sea Trail (1,175 miles), Benton MacKaye Trail (289 miles), and the Colorado Trail (486 miles).
